Quoins is a component blogging system for TurboGears. It is not a fully configurable, skinable, blog-in-a-box. Rather, it is designed to fit into a TurboGears application that you design.
With a few lines of configuration and code, Quoins can become a self-contained component of your TurboGears application. If your application is only a blog, and you want Quoins to be the root controller for your TurbGears application, it can handle that too. But it's also suited for applications that are larger and need a blog along with other functionality. In that case, Quoins can be a sub-controller.
In either case, Quoins takes care of the model and controller methods for the blog, but you are in control of templates and user authentication, giving you the most flexibility in how Quoins fits in with your application.
Quoins is still under development and is subject to change. It is currently used in production, and the features below are complete. Please feel free to use it, but expect it to continue to evolve. Contributions are welcome.
